The I Love My Dog So Much Foundation was created by the Executive Team of I Love My Dog So Much, LLC (ILMDSM, LLC). In 2016 the company joined a group of rescue workers in Southwest Louisiana after extreme flooding. In less than three days, the site's community came together to raise $50,000 towards relief efforts along with volunteers on site. The overwhelming support in such a short amount of time inspired the team to continue fundraising efforts following Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Maria.
I Love My Dog So Much, LLC partnered with amazing nonprofit groups across the country to enable the distribution of funds to communities in need. In 2018, the members of ILMDSM, LLC decided that creating a nonprofit to raise money in advance of the need would allow for greater impact and readiness.
A minimum of 90% of all donations go directly to the Foundations rescue efforts. The Foundation's goal is to keep administrative expenses as low as possible so that your donation can have the most significant impact. All employees and executives are proud to be non-compensated volunteers.
I Love My Dog So Much Partner Organizations
The National Centers for Environmental Information recorded 16 major environmental disasters in 2017. Over the past two years I Love My Dog So Much, LLC has been thankful to raise and deploy over $300,000 in response to natural disasters in Texas, Louisiana and Puerto Rico. These funds were used to ensure that dogs and other pets impacted by these natural disasters had access to food, shelter and medication, as well as providing temporary foster or permanent adoption services for animals in need.
